Premier Dalton McGuinty defends taxpayers paying six figure salaries

As Ontario's economy was shedding tens of thousands of jobs last year, the number of public sector workers who were paid more than $100,000 jumped by 26 per cent over 2007. Premier Dalton McGuinty said the increased size of the so-called sunshine list was to be expected, but added his government is committed to reducing the size of the public service by five per cent over three years.
