Australian KFC ad taken off the air due American outcry.

Talked about it a couple of days ago and I am not happy. Why? Summed up nicely in this opening piece.

A KFC ad broadcast in Australia has been pulled after allegations of racism in the United States


This transferring of racial attitudes from one place to pigeon hole it in another when its clear from context and not being ignorant the ad was not racist.

I am really unhappy with idiots who called the West Indians fans in the ad "African-American" since that is racist, arrogant and ignorant. Just a bad choice to pull the race card. It served no purpose other than validate paranoid racist attitudes of people who see victims everywhere.
