12,000+ illegal immigrants in Texas Colleges

Paying in-state tutition that wouldn't be afforded to citizens or legal residents out of state.

More than 12,000 illegal immigrants paid in-state tuition or received financial aid at public colleges across Texas last year -- that's more than ever before.

Figures from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board show about one percent of all students were illegals - something that American born perspective students don't like to hear. It is all because of a recent Texas law that lets illegals qualify if they meet certain requirements.

They have to attend school in the state for at least three years before graduation from a Texas high school. Students also must file an affidavit saying they plan to seek permanent residency.

Obama's amnesty plan would have even less requirements...half joking..

  1. Someone believes that they are educating 'progressive' voters. I think we need a law that will not allow any who entered the country illegally to ever vote or receive welfare. And I am horrified that Texas is extending an instate tuition which amounts to subsidizing their education when there are sure to be real US citizens whom they won't give scholarship funds to.
