Obama's lack of vision space plans pushes America to also rans.

I approve of NASA getting an overhaul in its functions, duties and bloated bureaucracy. I approve of getting more commercial businesses into the space race because they will help to improve technology and cheaper safer ways to travel into space.

The problem here is Obama proposals lack a defined goal for NASA to improve while keeping its place as the #1 space agency in the world. Getting flights from the Russians is an embarrassment instead of keeping that function on American soil by American workers. This and other factors kept NASA on the front page in the past while being inspiring to future generations to get into space exploration.

Obama had a chance to redefine NASA as an agency looking beyond the old ways but blew it by refusing to set concrete/clear goals within a timeframe that made it possible like JFK in 61 to push us to land on the moon decade later.
