Wow its amazing how incredibly ignorant all of these people are here commenting. Where was the outrage while bush was fucking the country up for 8 years from mcgruder? The boondocks continues to paint most blacxk folks as ignorant monkeys. Its a shame. Because Mcgruder doesn't really rep black folks anyway. He said that he doesn't consider obama to be black anyway. No one said it wasn't a great feat that a black man was elected. The issue here is that it's more of the SAME. When is he going to roll back the PATRIOT act? When will we leave Iraq/Afghanistan? When will he push for more restrictive regulation for those that would gamble with the future of the American economy purely for selfish short-term gain? Just because he isn't as bad as Bush doesn't mean he's a whole lot better. And as for healthcare, yeah, it was about damn time we saw some reform. But what about a public option? We're getting watered down promises and they're being celebrated as victories.

I'm half white and half black and rather young..22 to be exact, but I don't act ghetto or act gangster or act like the world is always against me. I have to admit Martin Luther King would be dissapointed at the way a lot of African-Americans act these days. It's not really being racist if you judge someone by their actions and thats whats happening. Young African-Americans, while some act themselves and act civilized, a lot also seem to act as if they need to be affiliated with some kind of gang or act like their "Hard" and nobody can beat them up. Martin Luther King pretty much died to stop African-Americans from being discriminated and the way a lot of young black act now days is an outrage, it's no way to repay him. Now I'm not gonna ignorantly generalize and say all African-Americans act this way. Cause that would be sterotypical. Truth be told I'm living proof, and I've even met people who are full black and they too acted themselves and were civilized. They didn't act as if they were affiliated with any gangs they weren't ghetto. But because a majority of them do act like that a lot of white people ignorantly judge and assume ALL blacks are that way. And it's just not the case. Then there is your white people who seem to think all black people are on welfare...check this, my father was full black he worked, went to college, got his degree and became an Astronautical Engineer. African-Americans are intelligent, their not dumb, their not always lazy, their not all on welfare. Infact my fiancee used to work for DSHS, majority of the people that are in there are white people she says so that's saying something. And people say oh a majority of black people will rob you or theft from you, yet, white people steal more money from us than any african-american could dream of. But my point is though with all this being said. Every human being has problems, white people have problems and so do black people. Asians have problems, mexicans have problems, no race is better than another cause they all have flaws.
