Engadget Apple love overwhelms somewhat objective reporting with the EVO 4G.
Come on Engadget. I know they are Apple lovers/slaves but putting a comparison shot with the iPhone at full bright and the Evo at about 10% is fanboyish even for you guys.
Are you sure? Have you ever turned an iPhone up all the way? I never turn my display up past 50% in anything less than blazing direct sunlight, because it is already ridiculously bright. Plus, look at the way the light is reflecting off the trimwork of both phones. Those phones are under bright lights. I'm thinking that it really is that much brighter (and that 90% of the people don't need the extra brightness.)
