Cornell West slams Obama as pack master, Boyce Watkins says Obama elitist.

Two members of the "black intelligentsia" go after Obama for doing enough for black people. In West's case I think its more of how dare Obama talk to me in this way instead of kissing his ass. He should know by now that Obama has thin skin and doesn't care who you are and what color. He is the alpha and everyone else beta.

President Obama has offended Dr. Cornel West. West details the incident in an NPR interview. It seems that during their last meeting, the president made a "beeline" for Dr. West, and then "demeaned" and "humiliated" him over West's criticism of Obama and the White House. West says the President talked to him like he was a "Cub scout," and Obama was a "pack master." West raised the question about whether President Obama has a double standard for white and black critics. Maybe it's not that deep? Maybe President Obama was just mad and actually knows West, so he felt free to express it?

Watkins is just the general whining that Obama has not done enough for blacks only.

DR BOYCE WATKINS (AL SHARPTON SHOW GUEST / ENTOURAGE) (20:30): I think more children have died, have been killed in Chicago over the past three or four years then there are that have died in Iraq, ah soldiers that have died in Iraq.

So, really what is fundamentally true here is that there is a state of emergency in Chicago and I would love to see the Obama Administration take some progressive action to help alleviate that situation the same way they would deal with this if kids were dying say on Harvard yard or in Martha’s Vineyard, or one of these other places that the rich hang out that President Obama does care about because let’s be clear President Obama is a cool brother, but he is a little bit elitist. He tends to take care of people from Harvard and Yale a little bit more then he takes care of the rest of us and that’s one of the things I have a problem with.
