Tom Joyner continues to be a dick to Tavis Smiley and Cornell West

What are their crimes? They dared..DARED to speak ill of Obama. If you are black in Joyner's idiotic myopic worldview, you are a traitor to black people and you allowed those darn white racists to speak ill of his lord god Obama.
While I am appalled at Halperin’s statement, I have no expectations of him as a man and know nothing about his character. I am appalled, however, that as editor-at-large of Time magazine, he is responsible for among other things, deciding what stories will be covered in that publication. As the person in charge of political content, it is upsetting to know that he probably has not been objective in his dealings with material I and so many people look forward to (until now) reading each week. Needless to say, I’ve cancelled my subscription to Time magazine and hope you will too.

But I’m even more disgusted with Smiley and West, two brothers who I did have expectations of - and thought I knew. These two have done much worse than what Halperin has done because they set the tone for it, opened the door to it, and must take much of the blame for creating a climate that would make a white, professional journalist feel comfortable verbally and vulgarly attacking the first black president of the United States.
In case you believe I think Tavis and Cornel called the president an offensive name, I don’t. I think they did something even worse. Any black people with any sense know that racists on the job, at school, at church or on the bus wait for opportunities to feel comfortable enough to spew their evil thoughts.

If a black person tells a racist joke in front of a racist or laughs at one, it won’t be long before the racist begins to fire off a couple of his own. Mark Halperin and others are no different. They hate the president because he is black, and Tavis and Cornel, by not having the sense to not give them the opening they waited for, went all in. And this is what we get.
Don't get me wrong, I am no fan of Smiley and I think West is 2 slices short of a loaf but Joyner and unfortunately a lot of black people are so stuck on Obama's behind that any criticism vulgar or not share Joyner's view that it must be because he is black.  It can't be that people could hate his policies or liberal worldview that is draining America of its superpower status while he runs up the national debt like a out of control teenage girl on a mall shopping spree.

It must be because he is black even though I agree with Halperin that that last press conference Obama did come off as a dick which is not something you want the POTUS to act when he is having a press conference.

But no, the Joyner worldview is Obama is god and those against him must be either racists or traitors to the cause.

Greece officially becomes the Euro Zone's little bitch.

Oh dear...
Euro zone finance ministers have approved a 12 billion euro ($17.4 billion) installment of Greece's bailout, but signaled that the nation must expect significant losses of sovereignty and jobs.

Ministers in the Eurogroup gave the go-ahead for the fifth tranche of Greece's 110-billion-euro financial rescue agreed last year, and said details of a second aid package for Athens would be finalized by mid-September.

But within hours of Saturday's decision, Eurogroup chairman Jean-Claude Juncker warned Greeks that help from the EU and International Monetary Fund would have unpleasant consequences.

"The sovereignty of Greece will be massively limited," he told Germany's Focus magazine in the interview released on Sunday, adding that teams of experts from around the euro zone would be heading to Athens.

"One cannot be allowed to insult the Greeks. But one has to help them. They have said they are ready to accept expertise from the euro zone," Juncker said.

Greeks are acutely sensitive to any infringement of their sovereignty and any suggestion that foreign "commissars" might become involved in running the country is an incendiary political issue and could trigger more street protests.

Bob Perry and Charles Butt helps stop immigration laws in Texas for their business.

Specifically two people who donate to Republicans who wanted to keep their cheap labor.
While Republican party infighting and rivalry between the two chambers of the legislature were factors in its demise, shocked conservatives and Tea Party supporters blamed so-called "Country Club" Republicans with close ties to business.

"I don't, for one minute, blame the Democrats for this one," an angry Mike Openshaw, Texas Tea Party activist, told Reuters on Wednesday. "The chubbing was done by the Republican Austin machine establishment this time, which is just absolutely stunning considering the election of 2010."

In that election, Texas voters, much like the rest of the country, swept Republicans into office in historic numbers. For the first time in well over a century, Republicans enjoy a supermajority in the Texas House and just one seat shy of that in the Senate. Among those swept into office in Texas were several Hispanic Republicans.

Two powerful Texas businessmen joined the lobbying against the bill, legislative sources told Reuters.

Houston homebuilder Bob Perry and grocery chain magnate Charles E. Butt hired one of Austin's most powerful lobbyists to oppose the legislation.

Bob Perry has long been known as the top Republican donor in Texas. Last year alone, he gave some $7 million to political candidates, mainly Republicans, according to the Texas Ethics Commission. Some $2.5 million of that went to Governor Rick Perry. Bob Perry is not related to the governor.

Butt, who owns the H-E-B grocery store chain, donated close to $1 million to political candidates on both sides of the aisle last year, according to the commission.

"They had real reservations about it," Bill Miller, the lobbyist hired by the influential businessmen, told Reuters. "They wanted some changes made, and we expressed the reservations they had about it to members, which kind of slowed it down,"

Dan Savage take on monogamy is him having zero self control and moral values.

Honestly if this twit is America's leading sex advice columnist then a lot of people are getting screwed over with stupid infantile advice.

Savage believes monogamy is right for many couples. But he believes that our discourse about it, and about sexuality more generally, is dishonest. Some people need more than one partner, he writes, just as some people need flirting, others need to be whipped, others need lovers of both sexes. We can’t help our urges, and we should not lie to our partners about them. In some marriages, talking honestly about our needs will forestall or obviate affairs; in other marriages, the conversation may lead to an affair, but with permission. In both cases, honesty is the best policy.

“I acknowledge the advantages of monogamy,” Savage told me, “when it comes to sexual safety, infections, emotional safety, paternity assurances. But people in monogamous relationships have to be willing to meet me a quarter of the way and acknowledge the drawbacks of monogamy around boredom, despair, lack of variety, sexual death and being taken for granted.”

Let me translate this tidbit.

Savage:" Look, I hate having one partner but I like the idea of marriage, but its too stuffy for me. Can we expand it to allow my lack of self control and issues with fidelity with just one partner?"

Why bother getting married if you want more partners? You can't have both and unfortunately we are on a slippery slope where the normal rules are being bent or broken to accommodate people like Savage who want their behavior to be viewed as normal relationships because he can't want to fuck around his partner.

Its basically the same argument your typical slut-whore who say that hookups are the new normal because going out with a guy is so boring and old fashioned. They as well as Savage don't want to be judged so they push for everyone to see this as normal behavior.
