UK- Failing foreign doctors demand multiple exams to pass doctor test.

I am guessing they are claiming its their right and the test is bias against non-whites....Yep!
Hundreds of foreign doctors working in the NHS are routinely failing key medical exams, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Success rates are so poor that medical associations want doctors to be allowed six attempts at passing the tests rather than the current four.

The revelation raises fears the trainee medics, mainly from India, Pakistan and Nigeria, are not suitably qualified to treat patients despite spending three years working for the NHS before taking the exam.
Figures show that foreign doctors are substantially more likely to fail than UK graduates, with communication cited as one of the problems.

While just nine per cent of British doctors fail to pass the knowledge and practical exams, more than 63 per cent of foreign doctors do not reach the standard to pass.

Many take the exams up to the current maximum of four times and there is no way for patients to check how many times their GP failed before becoming fully qualified.

Foreign medical associations are now demanding that doctors are given two additional opportunities to pass the tests amid claims that examiners may be discriminating against non-UK graduates.

Dr Ramesh Mehta, president of BAPIO, said the exam system was ‘faulty’. He added: ‘There is a very robust system of selection to get on to NHS training in the first place.

Doctors are then only put forward for exams when trainers say they are ready and are happy with their clinical and communication skills.

‘We don’t want to compromise as far as patient safety or standards of the exam are concerned. But we are worried that the way one part of the exam is organised is wrong.’

Dr Sabyasachi Sarker, president of the British International Doctors Association, said: ‘Four attempts is just too low – although we want to extend it to six for all doctors, not just those who are foreign.

'It may not be discrimination, but possibly just an unconscious bias on the part of the examiners.’

AP - Urban advocates say new gun control talk overdue

The black demographic which is called "urban" is brought into discussion that it took upper middle class white kids in a school for this discussion on banning guns to finally kick in for the nation.
But still: "There's a lot of talk now about we have to protect our children. We have to protect all of our children, not just the ones living in the suburbs," said Tammerlin Drummond, a columnist for the Oakland Tribune.

In her column Monday, Drummond wrote about 7-year-old Heaven Sutton of Chicago, who was standing next to her mother selling candy when she was killed in the crossfire of a gang shootout. Also in Chicago, which has been plagued by a recent spike in gun violence: 6-year-old Aaliyah Shell was caught in a drive-by while standing on her front porch; and 13-year-old Tyquan Tyler was killed when a someone in a car shot into a group of youths outside a party.

Wrote Drummond: "It has taken the murders of 20 babies and six adults in an upper-middle class neighborhood in Connecticut to achieve what thousands of gun fatalities in urban communities all over this country could not."

So again: What took so long? The answers are complicated by many factors: resignation to urban violence, even among some of those who live there; the assumption that cities are dangerous and small towns safe; the idea that some urban victims place themselves in harm's way.

The assumption is fact that poor urban areas are more dangerous than the suburbs or richer areas.

At the Violence Policy Center, a national organization that combats gun violence, an unprecedented surge of donations has arrived since the Newtown killings, as well as many emails from people asking how they could help, said executive director Josh Sugarmann.

Why hasn't this happened before, during decades of urban violence?

"There's an element of race to it," said Sugarmann, who has been working against gun violence since 1983. "There's a belief among all too many people about young black males, if you're shot you're in a gang or someplace you shouldn't be, or a bad kid doing things you shouldn't be doing. But in Chicago, there are reports of kids walking to school getting gunned down."

"The fact that these killings can't shape people's view that something needs to be done," he said, "is incredibly disturbing."

Look at FBI homicide stats and see that the biggest killer by race of black people are other black people. Most of it is because of gang violence in ghetto areas meaning bad kids doing things you shouldn't be doing and that is when the innocent get killed.

Reuters - Gun enthusiasts pack shows to buy assault weapons

Reuters does a subtle hatchet job on gun owners and gun rights by throwing out racial stats that have nothing to do with the article.

Gun enthusiasts thronged to shows around the country on Saturday to buy assault weapons they fear will soon be outlawed after a massacre of school children in Connecticut prompted calls for tighter controls on firearms.

Reuters reporters went to gun shows in Pennsylvania, Missouri and Texas, and found long lines to get in the door, crowds around the dealer booths, a rush to buy assault weapons even at higher prices and some dealers selling out.

As always looking for the evil white person as Reuters does to show some divide.
More than 200 people lined up at each of three entrances on Saturday morning to pay the $8 entrance fee to the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, which has an exhibit hall spanning 25 acres. They crowded the aisles of the show and stood two-deep at booths for assault weapons and ammunition clips.

At all three shows the attendees were overwhelmingly white men, with some women and very few ethnic minorities.

and ending with a Reuters wish from someone who is a gun owner.
While most people interviewed at the shows were not in favor of gun controls, not everyone opposed some regulation.

Bruce Abernathy walked away with an assault rifle after sitting through a 30-minute background check at the Texas show.

"There should be more strict background checks," said Abernathy, a Dallas resident. He said there should be a 30-day waiting period to buy weapons and a thorough background check that includes five references.

(video) Jon Hamm, Beyonce, ellen degeneres..etc. demand a plan to ban guns.

I like the fact Jamie Foxx is the first one demanding guns to be ban given he stars in the kid friendly Django and joked about killing white people.
Celebrities appeared in a PSA clip for the "Demand a Plan to End Gun Violence" campaign. The “Demand a Plan” is partnered with the Mayors Against Illegal Guns and seeks to cease future gun violence with the implementation of "common sense legislation," according to E! News. The plan would entail a criminal background requirement with the purchase of every gun in America, the banning of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and declare gun trafficking has a federal crime.

An astounding number of stars consisting of Jon Hamm, Steve Carell, Zooey Deschanel, Debra Messing, Elizabeth Banks, Brooke Shields, Conan O'Brien, Will Ferrell, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Chris Rock, Ellen DeGeneres, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow and so many more united to preach how imperative it is to demand change, referring to the Columbine, Virginia Tech, and Aurora shootings.

"How many more? [No more] if we had just done something yesterday,” USA Today reports Jenifer Aniston saying.

My plan would be that celebrities understand their status in the world and shut the fuck up like you mean something other than entertainment. But this is what happens when people don't keep reminding them they are not that important to lecture the people who are paying their salaries

Gov. Andrew Cuomo: Confiscation of guns an option.

This could pass in New York given the docile population.
In a radio interview on Thursday with Albany’s WGDJ-AM, New York governor Andrew Cuomo said that he plans to work with state legislators next month to submit a proposal for new gun-control laws; in particular, Cuomo said, “our focus is assault weapons,” because current state laws regulating the weapons “have more holes that Swiss cheese.”

“I don’t think legitimate sportsmen are going to say, ‘I need an assault weapon to go hunting,’” he said.

Cuomo continued, “Confiscation could be an option. Mandatory sale to the state could be an option. Permitting could be an option — keep your gun but permit it.”

eh? AP - Obama seeks scaled-down 'fiscal cliff' agreement

Killer instinct would be to go full hog but this is interesting.

President Barack Obama has scaled back his ambitions for a sweeping budget bargain with Republicans. Instead, he's calling for a limited measure sufficient to prevent the government from careening off the "fiscal cliff" in January by extending tax cuts for most taxpayers and forestalling a painful set of agency budget cuts.

In a White House appearance Friday, Obama also called on Congress to extend jobless benefits for the long-term unemployed that would otherwise be cut off for 2 million people at the end of the year.

Obama's announcement was a recognition that chances for a larger agreement before year's end have probably collapsed. It also suggested that any chance for a smaller deal may rest in the Senate, particularly after the collapse of a plan by House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, to permit tax rates to rise on million-dollar-plus incomes.

"In the next few days, I've asked leaders of Congress to work toward a package that prevents a tax hike on middle-class Americans, protects unemployment insurance for 2 million Americans, and lays the groundwork for further work on both growth and deficit reduction," Obama said. "That's an achievable goal. That can get done in 10 days."

Protestors in Chicago whine that people won't take Section 8

By people, I mean they are really really smart. I have never seen any section 8 area that wasn't a crime ridden shit hole.

The protesters chanted and marched — some of the disabled in wheelchairs, others rolling oxygen tanks — on a normally quiet block Thursday in west suburban Oak Park.

“Hey, hey! Ho, ho! Source of income discrimination has got to go!,” they chanted.
They were picketing the offices of property management firm Oak Park Apartments, and its policy of not renting to Section 8 tenants — typically the low-income or disabled.

This landlord, the housing activists charged, was an example of why an amendment to the Cook County Human Rights Ordinance was needed. The ordinance, which prohibits discrimination against source of income, exempts Section 8 from such protection.

“They’ve dismantled public housing for thousands and thousands of people, and the enhanced vouchers they’re giving people, suburban areas and counties won’t accept,” said Terence Simms of the Metropolitan Tenants Organization.

“This particular landlord says they have too many Section 8. We know what that means.”

WSJ - Millions Face a Hit if Fix for Minimum Tax Fails to Pass

Good, higher taxes mean more revenue for Obama and isn't that what the press says is needed and people who voted for Obama agreed upon? More spending!
Buried within the mass of tax and spending provisions known as the fiscal cliff is a problem that could cause grief for taxpayers and the Internal Revenue Service.

It is the alternative minimum tax, a provision adopted in the 1960s to make sure the very wealthiest didn't avoid taxes by accumulating too many deductions and credits. It wasn't indexed for inflation, and Congress has repeatedly passed an annual exemption to protect middle-class families from the tax.

Congress hasn't passed that extension for this year. And with talks over avoiding the fiscal cliff stalled, it may not pass one. If it doesn't, the tax will hit almost 30 million additional households, and could hit some couples making as little as $45,000 and individuals making as little as $33,750, according to the IRS. Just four million households had to pay the tax in 2011.

The average tax increase for affected households would total almost $3,700 for 2012, according to the Tax Policy Center. Married taxpayers in more affluent, higher-tax states would be hit hardest, because they tend to accumulate the types of tax breaks that the AMT targets.

Rapper Fat Joe pleads guilty to tax charges

Does no one have a good tax person?
Miami Beach rapper Joseph "Fat Joe" Cartagena pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of failing to file tax returns with the IRS, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced in Newark, NJ.

Cartagena, 42, was accused of failing to file tax returns from 2007 to 2010 on an estimated income of $3.7 million. The estimated loss to the government was $718,038, prosecutors said.

Cartagena admitted to receiving unreported income for his musical performances and music sales royalties through Terror Squad Production Inc., Miramar Music Touring Inc., and FJTS Corporation, according to court records

Great.. Broward Sheriff Scott Israel is the huggy feely top cop.

Wonderful. Now the entire county can feel the suck of do good police work. It works well in downtown Fort Lauderdale where the police there has turned into homeless druggie central.
In a wide-ranging interview with the SunSentinel on Wednesday, Israel said he supports banning assault weapons and wants to let county and municipal officials negotiate costs for a proposed, regional 911 emergency dispatch system. His condensed comments follow:

You've said youthful offenders will have your attention. "We need to focus more than ever on fighting recidivism and working to keep young people out of jail and putting our time, efforts and money into social service programs."

In an era of tight budgets, how would you do that? "Why ruin that child's life forever and why prevent him from being able to become a police officer or firefighter or go into the military? I'm a crime fighter. And we will arrest people who violate the law. [But] I'm big into diversion programs. Pay for it through budgeting and examine whether to apply for law enforcement trust funds."

How will you approach the homeless population? "To be homeless is not a crime. Homeless people are not problem people. They are people with problems. We're going to work very hard to assist and help a group in our society, some who are retired military, people who sometimes need a hand up or what have you."

Diversion programs usually end up being money sucks that do little to combat youthful thugs but look nice on a resume when you want to show that you care and the homeless problem especially in downtown fort lauderdale is a joke. It is not safe and after 5 PM people can't wait to leave. I dare anyone to go down to the main bus station and see how the homeless are not a problem. If he applies this nonsense county wide, someone is going to get hurt.

NYTIMES - Adolph Reed Token black on Tim Scott op-ed is niggarati going mainstream.

Adolph Reed op-ed that Tim Scott is a token black is just the long form version of Rob Parker's RGIII is a cornball brother. Both instances show the old racist thinking of blacks in America who think a black man is only supposed to think one way and one way only. Hence the term Niggarati thinking.

What is disturbing is how acceptable this racist thinking is to a lot of white liberals and unfortunately black america.

GOP should pass Plan B, let the Dems and Obama kill it.

GOP House better pass Plan B. The simple fact is right now no matter what the dumb average American voter nearly all who voted for Obama will blame the GOP no matter what. Pass Plan B, let Obama and the Dems sink it and have a message to say to the public you did what Obama wanted and he still wants to go over the fiscal cliff.

Obama wants tax hikes and doesn't care about spending cuts. If you go over the cliff, the GOP is going to get blame no matter what. The media will carry that narrative right into 2014. This right now is the best plan for the GOP to take and get back on the attack.

Standing on principle didn't work in the election, you think it will work now? Time to play politics.

Pro abortion people celebrate Ireland change to abortion laws.

As here in America, leftists don't let an tragedy go to waste to push their own vision of "moral" values.
The Irish government announced Tuesday that it would draft new laws and regulations to spell out when doctors can terminate a pregnancy, weeks after an ailing woman was refused an abortion and perished.

Exactly what rules will be proposed is still unclear, but activists celebrated the move as the first step toward addressing the legal confusion over abortion in the largely Roman Catholic country.

“We can see our government will be taking this issue seriously,” said James Burke, a member of the Termination for Medical Reasons Ireland campaign. “It’s definitely a step forward.”

National Association of Black Journalists Prez says Rob Parker wasn't racist about RG III

Greg Lee understands what the brother was trying to say but didn't put it in a clear manner.
The NFL has essentially condemned First Take, making players aware of the “discourse on the show.” Reading between the lines: the NFL knows the show is all about race-baiting, and is doing what it can to prevent athletes from participating. Surprisingly, one group not completely slamming the show is the National Association of Black Journalists. This week I spoke with Greg Lee, the President of NABJ, and asked him for his thoughts on the Parker incident:

We have had internal discussions and at some point, we will speak to ESPN about it. I know a lot of people there, and we want to grasp what they’re trying to accomplish on the show … But given that the show comes on 365 days a year, how often do you have a slip up on one of those shows?

One problem could be that the NABJ is very tied to ESPN (see here and here), which might be why they’ve been slow to react to the show’s rich history of ignorant behavior, like Stephen A. Smith saying the n-word, twice, with no repercussions from ESPN. The NABJ went after Phil Mushnick of the NY Post earlier this year; it has gone after CNN in the past. It is fairly surprising nothing has been said about First Take. Could one of the reasons be that Galen Gordon of the NABJ is part of the team that produces First Take? Those familiar with ESPN may remember Gordon as one of the guys who was the brains behind Stephen A. Smith’s “Quite Frankly.”

Lee went on: “I understand what Rob was trying to say, but the execution was poor. When they have discussions concerning race … if you misinterpret something … the way Rob executed what he said, the way he said it … the perception is he was race-baiting.”

Translation: A lot of the niggarati is thinking the same as Rob Parker just that he screwed up on presenting it in a nicer manner.

Adam Lanza Fear of being committed may have caused him to snap.

It would fit why he went after the school.

The gunman who slaughtered 20 children and six adults at a Connecticut elementary school may have snapped because his mother was planning to commit him to a psychiatric facility, according to a lifelong resident of the area who was familiar with the killer’s family and several of the victims’ families.

Adam Lanza, 20, targeted Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown after killing his mother early Friday because he believed she loved the school “more than she loved him,” said Joshua Flashman, 25, who grew up not far from where the shooting took place. Flashman, a U.S. Marine, is the son of a pastor at an area church where many of the victims' families worship.

“From what I've been told, Adam was aware of her petitioning the court for conservatorship and (her) plans to have him committed," Flashman told "Adam was apparently very upset about this. He thought she just wanted to send him away. From what I understand, he was really, really angry. I think this could have been it, what set him off.”

ACLU Defeated Connecticut Mental Health Bill Months Before Deadly School Shooting

Reason why Lanza couldn't have been put away.
As the national discussion on mental health continues following the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that killed 27 people, a recent mental health bill that was defeated in Connecticut may have helped in keeping Adam Lanza away.

Before Friday’s heinous act, there was talk in Connecticut’s state legislature to beef up the state’s “assisted outpatient treatment” law, according to Connecticut Senate Bill 452 was proposed in February “to enhance the care and treatment of persons with psychiatric disabilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings.” But the bill was defeated in March, with opposition calling it “outrageously discriminatory.” The ACLU said the bill would “infringe on patients’ privacy rights by expanding [the circle of] who can medicate individuals without their consent.”

Had the AOT bill been passed, it would have given the state the right to institutionalize a person who is mentally ill for treatment if the state has enough evidence to believe that the person could be a danger to himself or the community.

The revelation comes as the nation mourns the victims of the elementary-school shooting in Newtown.

Its not a matter of if John Boehner caves on taxes....

its a matter of how much and how long will he cry like a little bitch at the press conference. Offering Obama just a one year debt ceiling increase then brings that fight over to 2014 election which the Dems will use like a hammer over the GOP again. Boehner is doing more harm as the leader of the house than Obama is doing at this point.

Lil Wayne finally pays $7.72 million in back taxes

You can't hide from the IRS. He is lucky they didn't make his this year's celebrity example.
He's used to red carpets and VIP service.

But, as Lil Wayne is learning, celebrities get no special treatment from the U.S. government.

The chart-topping rapper just handed over $7.72million in back taxes after the U.S. Internal Revenue Service threatened to seize his $11million Miami mansion.

The Grammy winner, real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, owed a reported $3.35 million in taxes for 2008 and $2.25 million for 2009, plus other unpaid taxes and late fees dating back in 2002.

As time dragged on, the IRS placed liens on Wayne's sprawling 15,501 square foot home in an attempt to collect on the debt.

The three story, waterfront mansion is made of glass, steel and marble and boasts a three-level guesthouse.

David Axelrod attacks showing of violent video game ads

Everything but the mental deranged Adam Lanza is going to be blame if the Democrats have their way.
President Obama's top strategist has taken to Twitter to condemn the showing of violent video games during the NFL game in the wake of the Sandy Hook tragedy.

David Axelrod, President Obama's former senior campaign advisor, criticised the showing of 'shoot em up' video game adverts during the game after 26 people - 20 of them children - were slaughtered in Connecticut in what is the worst school shooting in American history.

He wrote: 'In NFL post-game: an ad for shoot 'em up video game. All for curbing weapons of war. But shouldn't we also quit marketing murder as a game?'

Don Lemon goes on gun banning rant, ignores facts.

This mass shooting by a crazed gunman has finally made the mainstream media come out in all their glory on how they feel about guns, 2nd amendment and gun owners. Don Lemon goes on a idiotic rant where facts to Don Lemon means nothing.
Listen, for the past three days, I have been on the verge of tears every second, and most of the people here have been crying 24 hours straight. Yes, we need to address mental health, but mental health in this particular issue — let’s not get it twisted — is a secondary issue.

If someone who has a mental issue did not have access to guns that should only be available in war zones, we would not be dealing with this. Who needs a bullet piercing, armor piercing bullet to go hunting? Who needs an assault rifle to go hunting? You can’t even use the prey that you kill with an assault rifle if you indeed do it. no one needs an assault rifle to go out and shoot a deer.

… That’s the issue that we need to deal with. So to say that gun violence is down does not make sense. To me, it’s insulting to everyone who lost a loved one here and who was dealing with that. It doesn’t matter if gun violence is down. 20 children are dead here and 6 adults are dead, and the mother of a person who was not mentally — who is mentally challenged in some way is dead. so to say that gun violence is down — we need to talk about mental health, yes.

mental health is a secondary issue. We need to get guns and bullets and automatic weapons off the streets. They should only be available to police officers and to hunt al Qaeda and the Taliban and not hunt children.

Notice how Lemon and the rest of the media have basically downplayed Lanza and now downplaying mental health issues which is the MAIN issue. But it doesn't play into Don Lemon's agenda about banning guns. Guns made Lanza kill those kids in Don Lemon's mind. Facts be damned.

Chuck Todd says fear Video gamers and Republicans is different America.

The media is in full gun banning mode and the old standbyes of also video game being evil is starting to creep into the conversation. Chuck Todd, the liberal lick that he is goes for the twofer.

“I’m sorry, we go to the whole common sense question about, you know, should someone be able to shoot off 30 rounds in 10 seconds – whatever it is. But, we’ve got to have the cultural conversation,” Todd said.

Todd said that the National Rifle Association is more likely to agree on gun control measures if entertainment producers are also at the table. Todd then pivoted to video game playing and chastised parents who are letting their children play video games excessively.

“If your kid, for three hours, is disappearing in the basement doing nothing but playing Halo, you may want to make sure your kid doesn’t have a problem,” Todd concluded.

“Well said,” Matthews added.

As for gun questions, Chuck earlier this morning pointed out the two Americas in his mind.
Chuck Todd: … having this discussion in Washington. The question is, does it last after the New Year? It may last this week before Christmas.

Guest: There is clear public opinion … public opinion is behind it. People are behind it. This is the right moment…

CT: There’s public opinion in general and there’s public opinion in the Republican congressional districts. Which is a different America. Anyway, thank you all. Thank you for the short … there… we have a busy morning.

There you have the opening narrative from the media.

Pro Gun Dems Senators Manchin and Warner looking at gun bans.

They were proud defenders of gun rights and now they are ready to join Obama in banning guns. Watch the media put these two up as heroes.

“I’ve been a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights,” Warner said Monday outside the Virginia Capitol, where he was attending an unrelated meeting. “I’ve got an A rating from the NRA. But the status quo isn’t acceptable. I’ve got three daughters.”

“They asked me on Friday evening, ‘Dad, what are you gonna do about this?’ ” Warner added. “There’s got to be a way to put reasonable restrictions, particularly as we look at assault weapons, as we look at these fast clips of ammunition.”

Warner said his resolve to pursue a solution solidified over the weekend while attending a Washington Wizards game. Many people approached him to talk about the tragedy, in which a gunman with a military-style rifle killed 20 first-graders and seven adults.

“I must have had a half-dozen people come up — Colin Powell, actually,” Warner said. “People were just coming up and saying, ‘Hey, we’ve got to [do something].’ ”

Manchin, a conservative Democrat and National Rifle Association member, told MSNBC that the massacre of 20 children and seven adults made clear the need to consider new regulations on such weapons. Two other adults were wounded in the shooting and are recovering.

Obama at Memorial promises more gun controls and bans

As the Dems like to say never let a crisis go to waste and in the wake of Sandy Hook where a mentally deranged man kills his own mother, steals her legally brought guns to go on a shooting spree, Obama uses the situation not to just comfort but hints at more gun control. It's Obama so knowing his method he is going to go big on taking away Americans gun rights.

Saying society would be judged by how well it fosters its children, the president said: "We're all parents. And they're all our children. This is our first task: caring for our children.

Obama asked whether America was doing enough and bluntly concluded: "No. And this must change."

"We can't tolerate this any longer," he declared. "These tragedies must end."

The president challenged the audience asking: "Are we prepared to say that we're powerless in the face of such carnage? That the politics are too hard? Are we prepared to say that such violence visited on our children year after year after year is the price of our freedom?"

He vowed to "use whatever power this office holds to engage our citizens ... to save another child or another parent or another town" the anguish of Newtown.

Any bets on Democrats going for the Sandy Hook Gun Control Bill?

$20 bucks says Dems will push this bill with some reference in the name to Sandy Hook or the teacher who saved her class Vicki Soto as a way to use it to push their gun ban bills? Democrats and liberals have no shame and see it as the right thing to do. Guaranteed.

Rupert Murdoch and Mayor Bloomberg: drop the gun toting security detail

Then lets talk about your gun banning ideas in earnest. INstapundit has pointed out the hypocrisy of these two very rich and well protected guys demanding gun bans but can afford to protect themselves in ways 99% of the population can only imagine.

This goes towards the Hollywood types as well but you want gun ownership to drop? How about tighting down on criminals and putting away/getting help for mental deranged people?

Disabled student, 18, with mental capacity of a 6-month-old gets Straight A's grades

....and you wonder why our educational system in America is falling apart when this fraud is so out in the open and no one has been fired yet?
The father of a severely mentally disabled Georgia high school student says his son's A's in his special education classes are bogus.

Wes DeWeese says his son Jared was born premature and has the mental capacity of a 6-month-old despite recently celebrating his 18th birthday.

He cannot speak or work, much less read or write, and yet he is enrolled in classes like world history and algebra - and passing them with top marks, according to his transcript.
'This basically is telling me they're giving them scores of 100 because this reflects on the overall schools. There's no way Jared can do algebra,' the father told WSBTV.

'I don't think people in Jared's case should be graded on anything like this. It should be on the skills set forth, goals the parents set with the teachers.'

School officials wouldn't comment about Jared's case specifically.

Gun Grabbing Time - Feinstein To Introduce Assault Weapons Ban In Congress

Here comes the gun grabbing. As liberals like to say never let a crisis go to waste and in this case, they see an opportunity to use Sandy Hook to ban guns.
The school shooting in Newtown, Conn., is expected to bring about a bill calling for a ban on assault weapons at the start of the new Congress.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California told “Meet The Press” on Sunday that she plans on introducing a bill on the first day of the new Congress that would ban assault weapons. Weinstein, a Democrat, said she expects President Barack Obama to support the bill.

I am not confident that the GOP will stop it either especially when the media(brian williams, MSNBC..etc.) who started to talk about gun control just hours after the shooting happened will do everything to get all gun grabbing bills to pass.

SNL removed Christ lyrics from Kids singing Silent Night last night.

The rest of the show sucked but the opening was cool till I realized something sounded off and others caught it. Even in the wake of this mass shooting, SNL and its crew can't have religion too much for its audience.

Gérard Depardieu leaves France over high taxes.

The ability of the rich to get away from taxes seems to be forgotten by politicians
Gérard Depardieu has said he is handing back his French passport and social security card, lambasting the French government for punishing "success, creation, talent" in his homeland.

A popular and colourful figure in France, the 63-year-old actor is the latest wealthy Frenchman to seek shelter outside his native country by buying a house just over the border in Belgium in response to tax increases by the Socialist president, François Hollande.

The prime minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault, described Depardieu's behaviour as pathetic and unpatriotic at a time when the French are being asked to pay higher taxes to reduce a bloated national debt.

"Pathetic, you said pathetic? How pathetic is that?" Depardieu said in a letter to the weekly newspaper le Journal du Dimanche.

"I am leaving because you believe that success, creation, talent, anything different must be sanctioned," he said.
